Description

Where does it take place?
Each full-day course will take place at the dentist’s office.

How many CE credits are earned?
CE certification for approximately 12 hours will be awarded.

What is needed?
The specialist will travel to the location and supply the equipment, instruments, supplies and disposables for the day of the course to duplicate the GP’s resources.

How is it taught?
The specialist will demonstrate the actual surgery on the first patient with the general dentist and staff actively observing and assisting. Then, the general dentist will proceed with the other surgeries under the watchful guidance of the specialist.

How many implants will be placed?
The course will include the placement of 4-5 implants on a maximum of 4 patients.

Will the implant company's representative attend the course?
The rep will be there for additional support before, during and after the course.
Course Schedule
Introduction
Meet and greet with specialist, dentist, assistants, staff, rep.
First Patient
Single site, performed by specialist and traveling assistant.
Second Patient
Single site, performed by dentist participant and assistant.
Break
Lunch and discussions. (Second patient time can run over into this hour.)
Third Patient
Single site, performed by dentist participant and assistant.
Fourth Patient
Performed by dentist participant and assistant.
Wrap up
Discuss the day. (Fourth patient time can run over into this hour.)
Presentation
End of day and presentation by the representative.
